Cancel culture strikes again! We have recently been “uninvited” from the international DA meeting list over disagreements in our interpretation of the 12 Traditions. Please don’t worry about this. Neither the DA General Service Board nor the DA World Service Conference has the authority to censure, punish, or banish DA or BDA members. Please see the Traditions and Concepts, perhaps especially Concept 12, for confirmation. Unfortunately, the long-term conflict and drama created by the GSB and WSC has created a lack of attendance and participation for our extracurricular DA and BDA recovery events to the point that 80% to 90% of our registrants were also participants from the BDA Solvency Immersion Conference. As a result we will not be hosting any more of these recovery events, at least for now, although we will take a look at these service offerings again in 2025 and beyond.
If you would be interested in attending a recovery event on one of the topics you see below, or something else related to DA and BDA, and would be willing to make a generous contribution to our free literature service (accessible via the button above) as an act of gratitude and reciprocity, please let us know via our contact page.
